Ostara/ Spring Equinox

The Spring Equinox is a time when the length of day and night are equal. It is the arrival of spring. In Greek mythology it is the return of Persephone to her Mother Demeter, as she has spent Three Months (or Lunar Cycles) in the Underworld with Hades. It is a time of balance and Earth Magick. It is an energetic festival of life as flowers blooming birds sing and animals produce offspring. It is a time to go within oneself and find harmony within Nature and The Divine, for The Lord of Light begins his flirtatious dance with the Mother.
